Appearance: Waka stands about 5’7’’ with odd multicolored hair. The sides of his hair are trimmed short, and dyed orange. While the top of his hair is longer, dyed dark green, and is often styled up in a Mohawk. Waka wears his Shinigami uniform much differently than others. The pants are cut at the top of his shins, and he wears no socks with under his sandals. His lieutenant badge is worn like a belt buckle on top of his white sash, the long remainder of which hangs off towards his left side. The shirt portion of his uniform is always worn open, though he has several bandages covering the bottom portion of his stomach.

~Other: Waka has several peircings on his left ear, and a large kanji (rooster) tattooed on the center of his chest.

Personality: Waka if a wild child like character. He is very brash, arrogant, and cocky despite how it may displease others. Waka all in all is the spirit of youth itself very reckless, and ignorant to the workings of the world around him. Despite the various quirks of his personality, Waka is an extremely kind individual, and treats everyone with the same amount of respect, though they may not view it as very respectful. Waka is extremely loyal, and never really bothers questioning, or even thinking too hard on things that concern his job as a Shinigami. Waka is very prideful, and boast that pride quite often. However as a result his of hard head, Waka has a hard time admitting when he is wrong. Waka typically despise those who show off their nobility, or status in the world. Waka is obsessed with martial arts movies of the human world. Because of which he has become skilled in several different forms of unarmed combat including Jeet Kun Do, Drunken Fist, Mui Tai, and Capabara. Waka doesn't like the sound of his full name, and thus prefers to be called waka instead of Wakamono.

History/Background:
Waka was not brought to Soul Society, but rather born. However Waka was not born into any nobility or good standing, growing up in the slums of the districts outside of Serietei. Due to this upbringing Waka began to despise those of noble standing, for feeling as if they spat on him for being of lesser upbringing. As a young child Waka learned of the Shinigami who had gained respect through duty, and not upbringing. This in turn motivated Waka to do what was ever necessary to gain this title of Shinigami. Waka entered the academy as soon as he was allowed, and spent several years failing over and over again.
During his time in the Academy Waka was often picked on for his inability to perform the same tasks that other recruits were adept at. Waka was rubbish with a sword, and most kido would blow up in his face. However while failing in these areas, he was much more adept at one on one unarmed combat than most Shinigami at his age. This special fighting ability got the attention of the Shinigami Black Opps. Due to their interest, Waka didn’t graduate, but was drafted instead. Waka spent several years as a member of the Black Opps, being trained in unarmed combat, and Shunpo. While out on a mission, Waka caught a glimpse of a Kung Fu movie at a nearby drive in. Waka then became obsessed with Martial arts films, and learned various fighting styles that he would view. After his time in the special forces unit Waka was placed in squad 8 where he laid low as a seated officer. However Waka’s time came when he was pushed up to the rank of lieutenant. Waka to this day is just now getting used to his new job.
