PostSubject: Pain, Suffering and a Shadowed Moon [Hiryuu and Kaijin only]   Pain, Suffering and a Shadowed Moon [Hiryuu and Kaijin only] Icon_minitimeSat Jul 04, 2009 11:51 am

The light of a full moon bathed all below it in its pale, eerie glow, the thick cloud cover smothering out all the stars in the vesenatiy, making the moon look like a single eye that watched the landscape in a never blinking gaze. There was a foreboding felling coming from a small man made clearing of the very edge of town, a small shrine was at the centre of this forbidding feeling, the shrine was old and weather beaten, the wood rotting away and most of the paint had peeled away, only one or two specs of red remained on the roof, it seemed odd for a shrine to be neglected like this, it seemed like no human even knew it was here.

Housed inside the shrine was a huge statue of a western style dragon made of a dull gray stone, another oddity in this area, the dragon was posed to be laying on its side, one wing folded painfully underneath it, the other stretched out to the point it brushed the roof, its head and neck twisted up like it was roaring at the sky in pain. A katana was thrust in its chest, not a stone copy of the blade but a real one, one of the dragons clawed hand looked like it was trying to pull the blade from its chest. The katana itself was not as normal as it could to be, whilst the blade itself was hidden in the stone the hilt and handle where covered in charms and tags like it was smothered in binding spells.

And it was, for this statue was a cage for Mitsukai Kuromaru, a fallen Shinigami who succumbed to pain and suffering then finally madness. The cursed Shinigami was sealed here hundreds of years ago, not being able to kill him in hopes of finding away to bring him back to his old self they smothered the katana in seals so no Shinigami, hollow or arrancar could pull it out and free the trapped soul, however the seal had one flaw, humans. A darkness started to grow around the statue for a moment before sparks started to dance around the katana’s hilt and forcing it back, a deem rubble seemed to sound out from the earth around the shrine.

Thick clouds made it impossible for anyone to notice anything out of the ordinary in the sky, and flying through the damn insides merely brought a thrill to his mental state and a chill to his skin. Not a bit of it bothered him though, chills came and went, and only served to alert one far more easily. Silently and swiftly the large figure broke from the clouds, diving at an angle towards the ground and disintegrating all the while until the smaller figure on the back hit the ground, running forwards a few steps. Momentum squelched, he looked about the area and made 'tsk'ing noises. Such disarray, lack of respect, and utter forgetfulness to what had surely once been a friend.

A friend indeed.

An overly large grin came and went as the dark clad figure walked about the structure, studying it for anything to be worried over, while at the same time shaking his head at further signs of disrepair. Couldn't hire even a cleaner to sweep the dust from time to time? Then again humans were unreliable and curious creatures, and from what he'd discovered from another's mind this thing was oh so susceptible to the human touch. Somehow. Bastard had been quiet until the end on the hows and gave just the whom.

'No use skirting around the issue,' he joked to himself mentally, having made his way all around and was once again staring at the entrance. Opening the door, he stuck his staff through it first to try and ward off any possible creatures of the night, as well as help illuminate any magic held in place. A few skitters and the things left at the clanging of the rings at the end in the giant hoop. He'd seen similar staffs in pictures of 'monks' but he wasn't here to purify so much as free.

Walking in, finally, he grinned at the statue.

"Hellooooo."

The energy of another being make the spirit inside roared and thrash against the bindings, the ground starting to shake threading to collapse the building around them, the wooden frame swayed like a decrepit shack before sparks erupted from the katana again reinforcing the bindings. A scratch like claws across stone sounded out, a cry of agony, before there was nothing but a deathing silence, only the faint howl of the wind dared disturbed this place, clouds drifted across the night sky to smother the moon’s light, even the shadows seemed to stretch out to try and snuff the light out from the man’s staff.

‘I wish suffering into this world,’ a voice boomed in Kaijin’s mind, ‘utter this chant unto me and remove the blade and I will be free!’

"Calm down, my soon to be freed friend, no need to collapse the building," he muttered while walking towards the statue, though his mouth was in an amused twist as he said it. No true worries, a captive didn't bring down the building when freedom was so close at hand. Not in this scenario at least.

It felt so achingly slow as his hand grasped the blade, so close at hand. The search for a decent cohort or two hadn't been easy, and with the first run-ins with that shinigami...and other thing, he'd learned so much of this world and the world most were blind to. It wasn't enough, it was never enough. One man could only accomplish so much, especially if he knew that eventually there would be more than one after him as time passed and so allies would be necessary. Always needed something, or someone, to fall back on from time to time, even in the darker of realms.

"I wish suffering into this world," he said in a straight voice, the underlying tone filled with a horrid glee and excitement. With this he pulled the blade out, making sure to take a few steps back while holding it and his staff still.

With the blade now removed from the stone cage Hiryuu was now free. Cracks started to spider web across the statue reviling a thick blackness of living shadow underneath, one of the hands broke free first, the black fog-like form still retaining the shape of a dragon, slaps of stone started to fall from the wings next before the cracks make their way up the slender neck and started to form on the head. The open jaws snapped shut as the stone feel from its head, red glowing eyes now visible, the burning effects of pure suffering itself, the mass of living darkness got onto its feet as the last remains stone feel from its body, the plinth the statue once rested on started to crumble under the dragons weight and power. Red eyes locked onto Kaijin for a moment, the one that had freed him, throwing its head back and letting out a roar that caused a shockwave that destroyed the shrine and fell trees. The wings like eternal night spread out, almost endless in there length they seemed to almost devower any light that came into contact with them.

A low grow rumbled deep in its chest, it slammed a large clawed hand into the ground before Kaijin, leaning forwards so the end of its snout was close to his face. Eyes looking over the one who freed him, another growl before the dragon seemed to lose his form and just become a large swirling mass before the ‘human’, the mass slowly started to shrink till it was about the same high as Kaijin. The darkness seemed to melt away reviling a tall man standing there, a tall man with quite pale skin in the moonlight, his long hair was as black as the shadows he was formed from before, his eyes where silver, a far cry from the burning hateful red they were before, despite being a ‘Shinigami’ he was not warning the normal Shinigami garbs but something that seemed more in line with noble men, deep purple and blues lined with silver, a white scarf-like sash covered his shoulders and part of his chest, a large blue gem set on the left side that was decorated with a silver chain and feathers.

He looked down at his hands for a moment, clenching his fists before relaxing his hands again. His body shook light as he started to laugh to himself, “Free! This one is finally free!!” he laughed, his voice deep like tar, he locked his eyes with Kaijin’s one exposed eye, “you wished Suffering onto this world, then Suffering this world will have!”

Most certainly quite the spectacle, and far better than the things humans watched in those darkened rooms for entertainment reasons. Not that his sense of 'entertainment' was vastly different, he just likely couldn't see eye-to-eye with humans in preferring the realities to their fake likings. Would likely be some bit of fantasy if one had to categorize this in such terms. His fantasy would soon be their reality, so he thought as he stared back coolly into the crimson eyes of the midnight dragon. Its destruction of the shrine didn't disturb him as the moonlight was rather nice, as well as the fact this way it was blown away rather than forced to come tumbling down. No pain this way.

The dragon turned mass turned man was fun to watch as well. Spurred a release of adrenaline through his blood as he realized the possibility of the future he planned. What he'd meant to be a smile first stretched into an outright grin, his visible eye glittering in delight, but he calmed himself so that it transformed into an amused and happy smirk, the glint remaining. Mentally he was quite impressed by the man's style of dress, and gave him some mental points for it before speaking, "Why yes, I have, and suffering it will have. In time. Now, would this happen to be yours or is it only trash now?" Kaijin raised the blade, turning it over to examine it. Some of the seals, no longer under power, began to flake off due to the wearing of time.

"Oh, and back to that suffering bit of yours, you wouldn't happen to mind waiting for the true chaos and suffering this world will see, would you? Some will come, but if you're patient then I can assure there will be far more if you can be patient enough and aid me in some endeavors." The way he asked was similar to asking a passing stranger the time of day, but Kaijin wasn't too concerned. If the man refused, well he'd sadly have to find aid elsewhere and let him run amok. If he was willing, then Kaijin had just received a fun new playmate and partner in remaking this world into something far more desirable for the both of them.

The dark haired man looked at the katana and snorted, he hated that thing, when they Shinigami used it to seal him away they through nothing of it, it was just a pin holding closed the door but he felt it, the sharp pain in his chest for all this time, it would of been maddening if he was not already ‘mad’. “It’s trash.” he growled.

He lessoned to Kaijin for a moment, about waiting and his endeavours, his eyes changed for a second, the irises turning red and pupils turning to slits. “You freed this one so this one will follow you in your ‘endeavours’,” the dragon went down on one knee a sign that he was willing to serve the human, he just wanted to cleanse the human world of suffering and it seemed that this man wanted the same thing, “this one’s name is Mitsukai Kuromaru.” The dragon said using his hosts name rather than his own.

“This one was sealed here many, many years ago by the Shinigami because they failed to see the corruption and imbalance all around them, this one was trying to put things right but was stopped by the captains.”

Pain, Suffering and a Shadowed Moon [Hiryuu and Kaijin only] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Pain, Suffering and a Shadowed Moon [Hiryuu and Kaijin only]   Pain, Suffering and a Shadowed Moon [Hiryuu and Kaijin only] Icon_minitimeTue Jul 07, 2009 7:59 pm

"Very well then," and Kaijin raised the sword before driving the tip through the dirt to let it rust over as time originally had wanted. No use for the thing anyhow. By the time they left the last of the seals would likely fade away, leaving humans to ponder the placement of this sword before a fallen structure.

Kaijin listened to the mans agreement and tasted something sweet on his tongue. To play chess you needed the right pieces and it seemed he'd found a good one, a very good one. "Then it is a most pleasant occasion to meet you, Mitsukai. This body's name is 'Kaijin' though my personal name is 'Bachiri.' Just refer to me as 'Kaijin' though, must keep up appearances and all that." He could feel the twinge from the other spirit as he commanded the use of its name and a wicked grin spread on the second spirit's face internally. Every action, every slapping of his name for credit, irked and ground him down to no end. Meant to kill such things as him and hold down those like 'that one' and yet here his body was betraying him down to the last 'T' and he couldn't prevent it. Things like this just fed Bachiri's spirit to the greatest heights.

"Fear not, we shall make those shinigami see just how corrupt and fallen this world truly is. In the future, they will be forced to deal with troubles they would never have even dreamed of, let alone have to experience such. Alas, we still need more allies, and I would like at least one more as powerful as either of us...close to." Those equal to him were favored and disliked: could be disloyal and corrupt the plans them self for their own gain, or could be so enticed by such delights that they follow along loyally while being able to carry out the necessary details. This is what he wanted and needed. Pawns were useful, but he was gaining the hierarchy first in the set of pieces; pawns would likely be those shinigami.

His lone eye turned back to the individual standing before him, surely a more knowledgeable fellow than his own self, seeing as he was still somewhat knew to this world. "Tell me, do you know of a race that is evolved beyond these 'hollows'? For some reason I couldn't extract it from any other targets as though they were a secret. We will likely want one for our own side as they will hold great powers. If you can sense one...all the better." Usually he and the other had been excellent at sensing the darker spirits, so perhaps those of this one could sense their enemies. If not then it would be left up to the sights of chaos or pure chance in finding someone corrupt and willing.

Hiryuu’s skin seemed to ripple for a moment, growing darker before lighting again, like there really was a restless beast ready to burst out of the humans skin. When Kaijin asked of the ‘evolved hollows’ his eyes seemed to settle more into the silver then the unearthly red, scanning his own memories of pain to find what he was looking for, “Arrancar!” he snarled, the voice darkening mid word, “they are hollows who have removed their mask for more power, they look mostly human,” he closed his eyes for a moment to think and clear his mind. After so long sealed in the state as nothing more than pure darkness he had to work at holding this form and holding his mind, even though Mitsukai had been devowered by him hundreds of years he was not going to let his guard down, it was fate that he was made to suffer like this and he was not going to allow anything to bring back his ‘master’.

“This one believes that there should be one around here somewhere,” he said when opening his eyes, his arm lifted in a way that seemed unnatural, like the body was being pulled by strings like some ghastly marinate, slowly three of his fingers curled in what his index remained extended, his hand pointing towards the town, “the town is rich with spirit energies, it makes for a perfect feeding ground for their kind,” a smirk came onto his lips of his otherwise emotionless face, “ there is something about hunting a prey that can’t see you.” He said with a deep rumble that sounded almost like a laugh.

“This is one sure we will find one there,” he let his arm fall to his side like it was a dead weight, taking a few steps forwards he was quickly annoyed by the way the two legers walked, so clumsy and unquwardanated compared to rising high on four muscle legs or gliding gracefully on wings. “lets go, this place makes this one sick.” He snorted as he walked passed Kaijin, making his way towards the town.

PostSubject: Re: Pain, Suffering and a Shadowed Moon [Hiryuu and Kaijin only]   Pain, Suffering and a Shadowed Moon [Hiryuu and Kaijin only] Icon_minitimeTue Jul 14, 2009 1:53 am

'Arrancar, lovely, so the similars here have found a way to evolve to new powers too. This bodes exceedingly well,' he thought as he watched the man walk in a strange way. Like riding a bike, with wonky results? He'd give him the benefit of the doubt, holding only so much information on this man and sure that the one in control was used to...other forms.

This other race sounded quite promising though. Kaijin had tried to deal with a few of the lesser hollows that walked this plane of existence quite often only to find them simple minded. No better than peons, the kind one sent in for fodder uses but otherwise no use, no purpose, and utterly annoying to try and control. But if they could evolve into something of a higher being then hopefully brains and some common sense and thought came with the upgrade. He so hoped so lest he have to deal with another completely simple minded fool. There was one thing he liked most about the 'demons' of this world:

The humans really couldn't see them.

Turning on his heel in a manner most would find amusing, he faced the city he'd left the edges of none too long ago. Back to the metal and gray jungle he would go if it meant more friends to make and playmates to be had.
