Shikai: The Shikai doesn't take any usual shapes in particular, rather, it takes the shapes of whatever weapons that Hoshi envisions. Therefore, it can be seen as nothing more than a formless object that can take a form.

Shikai Ability: Because of it's unique nature, the dual wielded Zanpakuto's in general will disintegrate from the user's hand entirely. Only that the ability will allow Hoshi to wield as much weapons as would like, in any shape. Although it needs to materialize first before being wielded, only through the five floating mist of distinctive colors (grey, black, white, silver, and opaque.) that can happen as they generate only ONE weapon to use or ammunition, only when it is destroyed or decimated on a whim, it can be replaced. Another trait of this Shikai is that the diamond-like properties of the weapons would be able to deflect projectiles such as Kido, Cero and energy-related attacks. It is due to Hoshi's great skill with the sword that he can withstand such attacks by simply using his Shikai-state weapon in order to deflect it, maybe even redirect it back.

Bankai:

Bankai Ability: Under Bankai, Hoshi retains a hooked shaped crystal-like sword that can gather and amount up a temperature to fire out a very intense beam of heat equivalent to a Gran Rey Cero, albeit narrow and thin, except it can be 'traced' along and moved. It's more thought out as a death ray that can scorch the area by moving along wherever the edge of the sword is pointed at. It needs a cooler though for each time it is used. The best thing about this technique is the fact that it is basically an energy unlike Cero, it can't be touched, it can't be 'grabbed' as one would do to a Cero since it is basically heat, something untouchable and ungraspable. The bad part about this though is that it can be refracted with a strong mirror if one was made not to melt instantly under the intense heat that can cook someone up. It won't necessarily incinerate someone at first, (not an elite), but it will cause some sort of hormonal imbalance that will cause some sort of sickness to the person. Causing a heat-induced fatigue that will make it hard to fight in an equal footing with Hoshi if it comes to sword fighting.

Another thing about the Bankai is that Hoshi has a blade now that will bend if needed and can scatter at any moment's notice due to it's crystalline heritage. The scatter is a dozen sharp razors meant to pierce someone, but abandoning defense for absolute offensive arrays, leaving only the hilt until it returns to it's place. Even morphing into a spear or an axe is possible for that weapon!


Techniques:

1. [Shikai] Shrapnel: In Shikai, Hoshi can cause the weapons he formed from the orb to explode with thousands of crystal-like fragments that will lodge into the skin, basically like a grenade. Is just a bursting of the weapon that would set off an injury to those foolish or unlucky enough to stand in a thrown weapon's way.

2. [Shikai] Deception: Upon looking at the blade when the illusion is initiated, Hoshi can lull the adversary into believing something to be, or not to be. Influence one's way of looking into things due to the bending of light which would change the way people view things and if gazed long enough, there can even be supposed pain because of the mind believing this to be true.

3. [Bankai] Light storm: Reflections upon reflections, through refractions. The blade will summon up enough energy from the sun to actually 'rain' an intensified light beam from the sun or the moon, or any prior light source to fry anyone to crisps through a series of intensified light that will scorch the Earth.
