Appearance: Zaigan sports a long black cloack which runs down to the middle to bottom of his pants. The cloak is ripped up in the back instead of the bottom being straight. He also wears ripped blue jeans and a spiked jagged belt that runs all across his jeans and has a bit of it hanging off of the jeans. He also wears to chains, both on his pants, one goes down to a his knee and the other down the thigh. Along with that he wears a neclace with a pendant on it, one that closely resambles the Hogyoku on it and three rings on it, one with his mask on it, one with a S on it, and the other one with a lot of diamonds on it. He wears his hair in a pony tail and has bangs that go all over his face and wears glasses as well. He's cloak is usually not worn but only in battle and on occasion and he wears a black shirt that says VI on it.

Personality: Zaigan generally seems to have a nice and cheering spirit, always seeming to have confidence and faith in his team. He is seen as a strong and faithful leader and usually has confidence within himself and with his team. He seems to have somewhat of a disliking of shinigami, but not where he would kill one for no reason at all. He is also a really nice guy, but not a pushover, he doesn’t take bullshit from anyone and is ready to protect his team and fight and never give up, he would kill anyone that tried to kill another vizard and he would risk his life to help his friends and the vizard.

History/Background: As a child, Zaigan found the academy easy, and surpassed his others without attempt. He graduated the academy at a young age, being the master of swords, Zaigan wielded blades greatly as a child. After the academy he was the quickly assigned to the 11th division, the frontline division, and the division that frightened even older Shinigami. Zaigan was not afraid and was going to go through with his duties and due to his impressive skills Zaigan was quickly assigned as the 3rd seated officer of the eleventh Division. Zaigan would always train with his captain to try to be the best, he wanted it all, he wanted to become the best in his division and always tried his hardest. One day, The Eleventh Division Captain decided to test all of the Shinigami of his Division to a match. He told them "land one scratch on me and you get to dine with me tonight". The captain's meals were very delicious, and dining with him was an honor to do. He gave each combatant five minutes to try to attempt the task, and sadly none of them were able to do so. It now came to Zaigan's turn and he was nervous, the youngish shinigami thinking he could not accomplish the task. He had a good long and rough battle, Zaigan trying his hardest to accomplish the given task. Zaigan then, in the last 30 seconds of his fight against his captain quickly shunoed on accident and slashed at him, making a small cut upon his cheek. That night Zaigan was the only one dining with his captain.

After that day, Zaigan’s captain examined him closely, and always trained his abilities, as Zaigan was the only one in his division who could pull of the Shunpo. The Eleventh Division captain had Zaigan as a pupil, and usually trained him daily, making some of the other shinigami jealous. It was not long until Zaigan of course became the Lieutenant of the division, quickly replacing the other one. But, it was not long until Zaigan started having weird dreams of this, freaky like hollow, one that looked exactly like him, but with reversed colored skin and claws, wings and a tail. The hollow ran around killing people in the dreams and it made Zaigan very weary and frightened of these dreams coming true. A few weeks after the dream, some Shinigami had come up missing and some had come up dead and it was not long until the Shinigami started telling a vicious legend of a “Screeching Hollow”. The Hollow looked a lot like Zaigan as they explained, but they thought it wasn’t him and denied all facts. Zaigan began to get very scared with the legends, and almost stopped sleeping, but could not help it; he would see the same hollow killing innocent Shinigami and the hollow harming all those he cared about. This would haunt Zaigan for quite some time, but he could not help his dreams and would just continue to rest his head and try his hardest not to think on the subject.

Soon through much more training and scratch landing with his captain, Zaigan learned the technique Shunpo, something that many Shinigami had not learned even as Lieutenants. The Lieutenant had recently been killed by the weird "hollow" legend and the Second Division captain requested for Zaigan as his Lieutenant, this mean he would be the second in command of the Special Forces unit and he would be assigning missions to the special forces and leading missions along with them. This was a big job that he hard to do, but he would do it and he would enjoy the job, as he took the promotion and accepted it himself. Zaigan stayed in the second divisin for at least 300 years, commanding the Special Forces better then even the Captain himself. The Captain of the Second Division at the time was lazy, and barely did any work with the Special Forces, usually being the one to lead the mission and the one to command the Special forces. The Captain Commander saw the laziness of the captain and decided to put his captainship on par, the same day that Zaigan and the Special Forces were sent on a mission to figure out the mysterious mission of this strange new hollow. The mission carried on for years, the second division and special forces usually surronding the soul society day and night, trying to get any information they could on the hollow. Zaigan never slept during this period of time and the hollow attacks stopped. After the three years, Zaigan was set to fight against the captain, and showed to have done immense training during this time, mastering shunpo, making an afterimage technique and even releasing his Bankai for the first time. He defeated the captain and finally got his rightful spot in the division.

Zaigan continued to serve as the captain as the Second divsion, and was usually the main subject of the captain commander when he was talking to other captains. He was quick, he was strong, and he would come to be one of the greatest captains in the soul society. He also impressed others with his afterimage technique, as it was no normal one, but it was one of the fastest techniques to the Shinigami and Arrancar's eyes. He then earned the nick name "Blink" because of his master with the Shunpo. One day, the captain commander sent him on a special mission, to take down three Fraccion Arrancar. Zaigan set off to kill the Fraccion because of their sudden lurking in the soul society and the trouble they were causing. Zaigan and his Lieutenant showed up to the scene and "Blink" took down all of the Fraccion level Arrancar down himself. The captain commander was highley impressed by Zaigan and considered retiring to make Zaigan the captain commander. The Captain Commander did something highley dangerous, by sending 2 Captains and their Lieutenants to commence a suprise attack on Zaigan, the captain commander was trying to test the Captains Strength.

The captains and their lieutenants rushed at Zaigan, Zaigan prepared to win against them. The battle lasted for some time, blood and reiatsu flying all across the fields. After a long and harsh battle, Zaigan came out the victor with the other floor on the ground and bleeding fiercely. The captain commander was pleased with this and had a meeting with Zaigan for the very first time. The Commander talked about many things to Zaigan, educating him on the ways of being a captain commander, and the casualties, norms and difficulties that will be faced as doing such. Zaigan listened and showed his respect by nodding his head and agreeing with what the commander said. After the long talk the Captain Commander then placed his arm into the air, his hand and fingers fully extended and waiting for a shake from Zaigan. The Captain Commander was old and ready to retire, therefore he offered position of Captain Commander to Zaigan. Zaigan was impressed and at the same time shocked, he did not believe he had what it took to be a Captain Commander but indeed he was offered the title, position and job. He shook the man's hand and the next day a ceremony crowning the new captain commander would be held.

Zaigan became Captain Commander the next day. Huge ceremonies took place and every single Shinigami in the Soul Society attended. Zaigan was then crowned the Captain Commander of the Soul Society. Zaigan then went to sleep that night and once in hundreds of years he had another dream of the wicked hollow that had haunted him once before. The hollow had killed many shinigami and even Zaigan’s own Lieutenant, Jazen. Zaigan woke up the next morning, but instead of being sound asleep in his bed he was inside of a tree that looked over the Soul Society. Zaigan was in shock as he would not know how this could happen. He then went into shock and quickly hopped out of the tree and ran toward his division headquarters. He saw a dead body lying on the floor, but it was not ordinary body, it was the body of his Lieutenant Jazen. Zaigan was frightened at the occurring event and alerted the whole soul society. Zaigan got all of divisions 13, 2, the Special Forces and division 10 to go on a hard mission to figure out who this strange hollow was. The Divisions took the command and went on the hunt. Zaigan went to sleep every night, Division Captains having to replace Lieutenants and third seats and some of them even getting wounded by the hollow himself. Zaigan then went through flashbacks, remembering how he had woken up in some spots that the hollow had went to sleep in, and Zaigan then finally realized the he himself was the hollow.

When Zaigan was in his teenage years, the previous Captain Commander that served before the one that crowned him told him about these powers, the powers of Cero and hollowfication. Zaigain enjoyed the conversation and the man gave him a box which contained a mystical gem that allowed the gaining of hollow powers which was called the Hogyoku. Zaigan would open the box when he got home and he rushed home with an excited spirit. Once Zaigan got home he quickly opened the box and it was like he was in another dimension and he saw himself in the mirror, only this was not him, it was his inner hollow, an exact clone of him that was grey. He then took on a mask and turned into a strange being and unknowingly went on a rampage. He killed innocent shinigami, Lieutenants and even killed two captains. After he woke up he never remembered anything, the cero blast, the destruction, nothing, until this day as Captain Commander, he remembered nothing. He kept the information quiet without telling any captains, shinigami or anyone. That same day he went to work with a heart full of pride and trying to keep his cool. He trained his division and looked over the Shinigami and he then walked home from work. After that day, he opened the door to his humble abode and saw a dead body; it was none other than the body of his love interest Sarai.

Zaigan yelled out in fright and sadness, dropping to his knees and burying his face into his hands, crying his eyes out more than any time he had ever in his life. Zaigan screamed and yelled as the other Shinigami were sound asleep. As he then fell to the floor, suddenly three silhouettes revealed themselves from his back door, one of them having on glasses like the previous Captain Commander had. Well it was none other than the previous Captain Commander and he was chuckling. He stepped up to the collapsed Zaigan, Zaigan in shock, and he revealed his master plan. The Former Commander revealed the he had known that Zaigan had become a hollow and revealed to him that the whole soul society knew and tricked him and that the previous Captain Commander was killed for the same reason and him and two other Captains stepped forth from the shadows, revealing their appearances. They then all looked down upon the collapsed Captain and the three of them drew their swords, prepared to slay the hollow. Zaigan got very angry and then shifted behind the previous Captain and knocked the others out, making it a one on one. The previous Captain Commander then removed his katana from the sheathe and quickly released the Bankai, bursting out of the top of the house and blasting out a fierce reiatsu shaped dragon at the house, destroying it. The Commander thought he had ended the life of the Shinigami, even smirking and seeming as if he was now going to walk off, but surely enough Zaigan was not finished and the angry Shinigami busted out of the rubble with a mask on, but this was no ordinary one, but the mask of a hollow.

Zaigan dashed towards the former and lashed many slashes and destructive hits towards him, easily surpassing the strength of the captain in his bankai. The former then quickly revealed another release to the hollow formed Zaigan, a release called the Kyuu. The release was dangerous and only used in emergency situations. The former rushed at Zaigan and was quickly on par with his strength, possibly surpassing him in some cases such as hand to hand. Zaigan and the former put up a long, huge and destructive fight, both of them matching each other overall matching in strength. Both of them finally delivered final blows to each other, Zaigan charging up a Cero and the former charging up a kido and both of them blasting it at each other and both of them flying away from the erupted explosion due to the collision of the blasts. The former captain landed on a building in the soul society, crashing into it and causing a destructive mess and Zaigan flying into an unknown garganta that he had made. Zaigan went flying into the garganta and came out not in Hueco Mundo but in Karakura town instead. He went flying onto a building in Karakura town, causing the same amount of damage as the former captain had. Zaigan laid on the building, a vision shown upon him with him standing over the dead body of the former commander and that would now become his new mission and he would not die until the day he would actually kill this former captain and avenge his wife and would not let anyone get in his way of doing so.

Zaigan had remembered of an organization that was destroyed a while ago called the Vizard and he re-opened the clan, residing in Karakura Town and Zaigan looking after the followers which he had and the organization that formed. He really treasures them and would risk his life for any of theirs. His sole purpose and his mission still remain the same and he will never die until the day comes when he finally kills the Captain Commander that took the life of his love.

Zaigan walked along a pathway of the beautiful moonlit Soul Society, his hands behind his back and a head full of stress as he knew that he would most likely have the hugest pile of paperwok when he got home, seeing as he was Captain Commander. Zaigan arrived to his humble abode with a wannabe cheery smile and stress upon his brain. He placed his hand on the cold door handle and turned it slowly, pulling his door open. He was then revealed to a body, but it was no ordinary body, but it was the body of his love, Sarai. He looked over the body, examining her death and the blood which was pouring across the floors and forming a small pool which would make itself up around and on her body. Her head was face down and her slender body had been stabbed through several times, her fingers were also noticeably bunched up into a untightened fist, showing clear signs of a struggle amongst an intruder or intruders. There were also some bruises across her back showing that she was also beaten before or after the stabbings. Zaigan's love was clearly and very noticablly dead and she would not be coming back anytime soon, this would anger Zaigan and hurt him dearly and would make a certain and utmost gigantic impact on his life and would surely break him down.

Surely soon Zaigan began to tear up, tears forming inside of his eyes and drops of tears surely began to drop down his face, eventually reaching his cheeks and dropping off after they hit the very bottom of his chin, dropping to the bottom of the floor and hitting the ground, making the usual noise that they did. He then quickly dropped to his knees and placed his wrists onto the floor, his hand open and showing the palm along with his fingers stretched in an upward position. He began to feel an extreme pain within his gut and seeing this, he quickly began to scream at the top of lungs, crying in obscene pain and quickly bringing his head down to the ground. He crouched into a small ball, his arms stretched on his back and covering his face. He kept screaming and yelling out at the top of his lungs, screaming the name of his love into the blue, depressing sky that was filled with sorrow. Zaigan then layed himself onto the floor, his arms and legs spread widely onto the ground, as if he were some sort of star. He looked at his love's head face down on the ground bleeding. The blood continued to run off of her dead body while at the same time Zaigan's tears continued to pour off of his cheeks and the two liquids began to mix together and become a podle.

Zaigan continued to cry and the sound of heavy footsteps began to surrond the narrow room. Zaigan elevated his head and looked towards his back door, his eyes shooting open and his mouth dropping open as a suprised look came upon his face. He was scared and angry at the same time as he looked upon two sillhouttes, the one in having glasses rested on his face. The middle sillhoutte then walked out of the shadows of the moonlight and revealed himself to be none other than the previous Captain Commander who had appointed him. The man looked straight into Zaigan's eyes as the other two captains stepped up and revealed themselves as well. They were the captains of Division two and Twelve and they obtained smirks on their lips. Zaigan placed his hand on the ground and focused his weight into his arm to try to lift himself off of the ground, but this attempt was quickly retaliatted due to the two captains drawing their swords already, aiming the blades at Zaigan's head. Zaigan then slammed his hand on the ground and quickly shunpoed behind the former, making his arms into perfect lines and hitting the two captains on his right and left and knocking the two out. They fell onto the ground and hit the floor with a hard pound to the floor.

The former quickly flipped the script and released his bankai through waving his sword and chanting "the flames will burn us all" and he then after jumped into the sky, bursting through the roof and stopping himself on the outside. The former charged his blade with a thick white reiatsu and slashed the sword, releasing a gigantic white dragon made of white reiatsu that flew towards the house and destroyed it, causing a huge cloud of smoke to emitt from the remains of the destroyed house. The former looked upon the "seemingly" destroyed house and the "seemingly" dead captains and Zaigan. The former laughed and chuckled a bit at the site of the destruction. He then de-activated his Bankai and floated through the sky and began to attempt to fly away. Suddenly, a rumble came from the smoke emitions and it was clear something was still present. Suddenly after, the former turned around and a figure busted out of the smoke. The figure was none other than Zaigan in bankai, but he had a mask on his face and this mask was none other than a hollow's mask.

Zaigan lashed at the former Captain with extreme might, using all of his energy to try to take down the captain. He slashed and slashed and slashed, swiping his blade and stabbing the smooth skin that the Former had, hurting the former more and more by the minute. The former was trying his hardest to defend the man, but he was just too hard to defend. His blade slashes were rapid, his offensive form was almost perfect and worst of all, the slashes were infused with plenty of gigantic reiatsu filled within the blade. Zaigan was making hollow howls as he continued the slashes, going for organs such as the heart, the bladder and the lungs. He had got many slashes on the former and would not give up until the former would die. Oh, how it hurt the man. Harch, help, harch! The Former’s cries to himself had began! He was going to release a power that was not revealed to many, and would be new to Zaigan, the power of Kyuu.

The former took a more vicious swing at the Vaizard, now fending him off a little and leaving Zaigan standing there. The trumpets of justice had finally began to blow! The Concerto had finally begun and the former would be the one to take the Solo! How would Zaigan compete? One winged angel of course. He would not give up and he would not give in, as the guitars began to rift, the Former twirled his sword into the air and released his Kyuu and a mass explosion of reiatsu had filled the skies on the Society of souls, a power that was larger than any Shinigami other than Zaigan in the entirety of the Lands! Oh how the ancestors had blessed this man! The powers had shed all across the Soul Society, leaving many in awe to his gracious power. The finishing move was near, the man was old, therefore he could not hold much longer.

“Ahh, Old Man, you are weak! I can sense it inside of you, you will not defeat me! You tricked me! You took my love! YOU TOOK AWAY EVERYTHING THAT WAS MINE AND TOSSED IT IN THE TRASH!!! YOU SHALL NOT GO UNHARMED!!!”

Zaigan yelled as he shaped his hand in a certain kind of way, as if, he was going to shoot an orb. What was he planning? OH! Zaigan knew what he would do now. He would finish him off! A Cero shall do! But would it work? Would it stop the man? Zaigan would just have to fire the orb and find out. Zaigan gathered his reiatsu in his hand, ready to fire the Cero which he would fire at the former. Oh my how the Audience had watched as the Concerto continued! The Event would add another remnant to Zaigan’s book of life, but this factor would have to be put to the side for now, as the battle would have to continue. The Cero had now completed itself and while that had happened, the former charged up his blade with reiatsu. Zaigan charged at him and quickly Shunpo’d behind him, the Cero in hand.

“This is the end for you my master…”

A comment that had been inspired off of Anakin Skywalker himself. He would now shoot the Cero point blank at the man, attempting to end the life of the Former Captain Commander, and as he fired the Cero, it impacted on the man, but would it take his life?
