Deja vu [Daiosharune and Miharu only]

Hearing the door open, Miharu's violet eyes shifted to look over, only to avert back to the ceiling before closing over, a light blush staining his cheeks. He'd forgotten that guys usually wore towels around the waist, rather than around the chest. It had been a long time since he'd done anything as a guy, after all.

"Do you have another towel? I wouldn't mind a shower, either. I'm probably a huge mess right now..." the redhead said, forcing himself to sit, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed. He really had no desire to get up, but he suddenly didn't want to be in the same room as the dark-haired human. The desire to get out of the room was greater than his wish to continue resting.

(OOC: I have Miharu's permission to accidentally almost molest him. XD)

Darrell pulled a pair of pants out of his bag, and answered slightly distracted.
"Yeah, there's a couple more in the... Hey, wait!"
Turning around, a look of alarm on his face, Darrell rushed over to Miharu.
"You shouldn't be moving around, those injuries will tear open again!" He said, reaching out with both hands to gently push Miharu back into the bed, concern plain on his face...

Which turned suddenly to shock as his towel, dislodged by the rapid movement, dropped down around his ankles, tripping him up and causing him to fall forward onto the bed, his hands knocking into Miharu's shoulders on the way down.

When the motion stopped, Darrell found himself nose to nose with Miharu, hands to either side of his shoulders, knees braced to either side of Miharu's hips, and not a stitch of clothing on his body.

Going beet red, he quickly scrambled off the bed, snatched up his clothes, and ran into the bathroom, slamming the door behind him, apologizing histerically the whole way.

Miharu had been about to stand when Darrell rushed over, making to stop him from getting up. However, just as the human man was in front of him, his towel fell, tripping him. Before Miharu could even realize what was going on, he was being pushed back, a short, pained cry escaping his lips as it was happening. And then Miharu was staring up into Darrell's eyes with his own eyes wide, before he scrambled away, blushing and spouting apologies.

Miharu didn't move from where he lay, staring up at the ceiling once again, though this time he wasn't really seeing it, still stunned. "...what... just happened...?" the redhead muttered, blinking slowly.

Darrell leaned heavily against the bathroom door for a moment, breathing heavily, his heart racing. He had never been that close to anyone before, let alone completely naked that close to anyone.

"stupid, stupid... damn towel..." muttering a similar string of curses, he quickly got dressed, but paused before going back into the main room, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.

This turned out to be a mistake, as his mind imediately presented him with the memory of those gorgeous eyes staring deep into his.
"Geh..." shaking his head, he opened the door and strode over to his travel bag, grabbing his wallet out of a side pocket and snagging his coat off a chair near the door, all without looking at Miharu.

Opening the front door, he paused. "I'll go get something to eat... I'll bring you back something... don't move around too much, okay?"
And then he was gone, walking towards a corner store he had noticed on his way to the hotel.

Snapped out of his daze by the returned presence of the human in the room, Miharu sighed, listening to what Darrell was saying before he left. He waited a couple minutes before standing and making his way carefully into the bathroom, closing the door before walking over to the shower and twisting the taps. The hot water now running, Miharu stripped off what was left of his robes before removing the bandages, wincing as he saw his chest. Thinking better of the hot shower, Miharu turned the water down so that it was cool, but not icy. He didn't want to freeze, after all. Still the hot water would likely cause his wounds to start bleeding more than they already were.

Checking the water, he sighed, then stepped into the shower, closing his eyes as the cool liquid struck his skin.

A few minutes later, Darrell came back to the hotel, pulling a keycard out of his pocket, a bag of stuff hanging from his other hand.
Sighing, he was about to put the keycard in the slot, until he caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of his eye. Turning, he saw another one of those monsters, Hollows, lumbering down the middle of the street.
Hoping the creature had not seen him, Darrell quickly opened the door and slipped inside, calling out as he tossed the groceries on the side table.
"Miharu! Hey, Miharu, where did you... Oh no..."
Seeing the bathroom door slightly open, he feared the worse and rushed in, the sight that met his eyes making him pause, mouth open, a deep blush slowly creeping up his face.

Miharu's eyes bugged, and he scrambled to grab a towel, covering his body with it. "Haven't you heard of knocking before?!" he snapped, standing. "I was just getting myself properly cleaned off!" Water dripped lightly from his scarlet hair, down his cheeks and over damp skin. It was obvious that he hadn't been out of the shower for more than a few minutes. The bottom of the tub had about 8 inches of bloodied water coating the bottom, which Miharu had obviously been using to tend to the wounds on his chest.

"I thought... that is... umm..." Darrell stammered, before shaking his head to clear it, and then opened his mouth to try again when a loud thump was heard outside the room.
"Oh damn..." Darrell said, stepping all the way into the bathroom and closing the door firmly, "It did see me..."
Turning back to Miharu, Darrell explained, "There was another one of those creatures, you called it a Hollow, out on the road when I came back. I was hoping it didn't see me, but..."

There was a crash outside the bathroom as the Hollow made it's own doorway into the room.
"Aparently, it did." Darrell finished, lamely. "What do we do? you're in no shape to fight. Do we do that power transfer thing again?"

Miharu sighed, shaking his head. How troublesome. Still, he reached down to the remains of his robes and retrieved a glove with some strange marking on the back, which he promptly pulled on before standing and jutting his hand at Darrell's chest. This action knocked his soul out of his body. "There. Have fun," Miharu stated. "I'll look after your body for you," he added before sitting back down on the edge of the tub, pulling off the glove.

Darrell watched with a puzzled look on his face as Miharu got out the glove, and opened his mouth to ask about it, but was cut off as his soul was pushed from his body.

"Whu... wha... huh?" Darrell asked eloquently, before another crash from the main room brought his attention back into focus. Sighing, he stood and pulled his Zan out of it's sheath, giving Miharu his first real look at the strangely shaped weapon.

"Don't go anywhere this time, I'll be right back." Darrell said, and then opened the door...
And found himself staring straight into the eyes of the Hollow.

"Oh, shi..." He started, before the monster opened it's mouth and a huge ball of flesh slammed into his chest, throwing him past Miharu and through the oposite wall.
A feminine scream was heard as the wall exploded, although the girl in the next room couldn't see him.
"Geh... that hurt, dammit" Spitting up a small amount of blood, Darrell gripped the tongue of the Hollow, which he had held onto after it had smashed into him, and brought his blade down hard, cutting the ball tip and a couple feet off, the rest retracting back into the creature's mouth, which stumbled backwards, howling in pain.

Miharu winced as he stood, looking back at the hole in the wall, then shook his head. "...how graceful of you, Sharu-kun," the red-head quipped, rolling his eyes. He then picked up his clothing and pulled on his hakama pants with a sigh.

As promised, he'd watch over Darrell's body until the Hollow was wiped out... which he sincerely hoped was soon. Crouching, he sighed again. This was annoying... but it was kinda his own fault for getting the human involved. He'd help as much as possible, he supposed. "Keep it distracted, Sharu!" he snapped at the human-turned-Shinigami.

Miharu then raised his arm, quietly starting to recite an incantation. He knew that his Kidou wouldn't be as strong as it normally was, thus his reasoning for even bothering with the incantation. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hadou 33! Soukatsui!"

"Thank you." Darrell mock-bowed at the 'graceful' comment, before gripping his sword in both hands, not waiting for the Hollow to recover before charging forward.

Unfortunately, the cramped space was too small to wield his blade effectively, only allowing him to deflect the creature's attacks, and pushing it back, hearing Miharu's mumbling in the background.

Just before Miharu finished the spell, Darrell lost his footing in the rubble from the outer wall, the claws of the Hollow and the blast of blue lightning just missing him, but colliding with each other.
