Ryuujin's zanpaktuo Akakoneko/Chigo-rudo Ryoushi (finished)

[as Ryuujin always feels like he needs to hide part of himself and too hold back, he has given his zanpaktuo a fake name to draw out only part of its power in shikai.]

Manifestation: a large male tiger that stands 6ft from foot to shoulder, the most striking thing about the tiger is its fur colouration its fur is blood red and black (red where it would normally be orange and black where it would be white) its stripes, claws, fangs and eyes are pure gold.

The handle of the zanpaktuo is 12 cm long and wrapped in black leather, a blade protrudes from each end of the handle, the blades are 50 cm long and 4 cm wide are coloured blood red and are mat (meaning they have no shine to them) the blades end in a elegant curve almost like a cat’s claw, the two blades face in opposite directions to another.

One end on the handle separates from the rest, the two parts now connected by a jet black chain that, the blade on the disconnected end ‘fans’ out into three blades, now looking more like a claw weapon then a sword. The other blade remains unchanged but both the sword and the claw seem to have a faint gold shine to them.


Shikai Ability:
Fake – None

True – Golden energy flows from the blades creating crushing waves with every slash and swipe (the energy never leaves the blades themselves) getting caught between the waves is the equivalent of a full grown tiger throwing its bulk onto you.

Bankai: In bankai Ryuujin’s right arm in covered in gold armour up to his shoulder, the amour seems to exenterate his muscles and is etched with a design to make it look like a tigers arm, three large golden claw like blades are attached to the back of his hands, the blades are long enough to reach the floor with his arm in a relaxed (making them about 2foot in length). His top is replaced with a ankle length coat, the front of the coat is black, the slide and back are blood red and decorated with golden stripes.

Bankai Ability: His Bankai is a compression of his remarkable power, rather than a vast expansion as other Bankai are. This vastly compressed power enables to reach levels of physical and spiritual prowess most Shinigami would have their bodies give out at and cannot handle. It allows Ryuujin to move at very high speeds exceeding those of flash steps, and gives him matching agility and reflexes along with allowing him to use his natural strength to its limits . Furthermore, the fact that all of his energy is "compressed" means that usage of his Bankai doesn't expel as much spiritual power as other Bankai from the point of activation; thus allowing him to use his Bankai at a much longer duration than any other Bankai users of his level. With enough usage and acquired height, he can even appear as though he is flying. however this Bankai has one serious drawback; the force of his compressed spiritual power caused all of his bones to crack over time.

Inner World: A vast flat black marble floor with veins of gold running through it, the sky is a hazy golden red that is always clear, there is nothing more than the endless floor, sky and the tiger.

Techniques:

Tsukitora [Lunging Tiger] (shiaki or higher): this is a concentrated blast of golden reatsu that is launched from the blade held in his right hand, the energy takes the form of a large tiger that ‘leaps’ three times before it hits a target or fizzles out, the tiger can turn at the beginning of each leap but ones it has Lunged it can only travel in a striate ling till its next leap (meaning it can travel in a zigzag but not in any kind of curving motion).

Koketsu [Tiger’s Den] (Shikai or higher): this compresses reaitsu into a shell that is akin to that of a Kido spell, he can form this shell around one wound external or internal organ in order to stem any bleeding that may had started, the duration of the shell very on where it is (the closer to his hart, the more strain on it) how hard he is fighting and if it had taken any direct attacks. (can’t be used on head wounds)

Last for 10 if it’s as flesh would and he is only using power lvs = to a spar.

-1 turn off the duration if he goes to bankai.
-1-2 depending on internal organ (-1 for stomach, intentions, est -2 for heart)
-1 if he has been in bankai for more than 5 turns with this running.

Toradoshi [Year of the Tiger] (Bankai): This is Ryuujin’s most dangerous move to perform and his most deadly, this involved catching an enemy’s attack (a blast, kido, Cero est not mêlée attacks) on his claws, infusing it with his Tsukitora and then launching it back at them, this move puts a lot of stran on his arm when catching the attack.

This attack uses up Tsukitora and can’t be used when it’s refreshing.
