The girl gripped the files in her hands firmly as she stood in front of a nondescript stone building. The comforting cold weight of stones behind her steeled the girl enough so that she could riffle through the files once again, rechecking her orders. The second time reading didn't change the contents, much to the girls chagrin and she sighed softly, the motion hardly noticeable through the black jacket she wore mostly unzipped. A gust of wind rustled the papers, causing her hair to swirl in an inky maelstrom. She stared down at the top most paper, flat green eyes roving over two words.

Saitō, Paksennarion

...Paksennarion. It was an unwieldy name. And not exactly a common Japanese name either, which meant that there was more to her current cover up story than they were going to tell her. That was fine. She didn't need to know. Reading on, the girl painstakingly began to construct her current identity, that of the teenager Saitō Paksennarion recently moved from the Nagasaki prefecture. Memorizing the pertinent information, Paksennarion reached the end of the dossier.

With precise smooth motions, Paksennarion ripped the papers in half, again and again until all that remained were shreds. Not enough for anyone to make any sense of the orders relayed in that writing, not enough for anyone to even piece back together a lone sentence. Releasing the pieces, Paksennarion allowed the wind to finish the job for her. Lifting the snowy white scraps and flying away with them.

Brushing a thin hand against her jeans, Paksennarion began walking away. Her stride confident and sure as she descended the stone stairway and met the pavement, easily merging and blending into the throng of people as if nothing set her apart from them. For all intents and purposes, right now nothing did.

He walked, like any other, in his aritifical Gigai, across the crowded streets of Karakura Town. He had to get some more Supplies for the Forest Base. He cursed his luck, for having picked the shorter straw. But, it helped him to get out of that forest, and get a change of scenary. You couldn't really say it was a breath of fresh air as the Poluted City air was putired compared to the Forest.
He had his hood up, covering his white hair. He had his jacket on, so that if it rained, he wouldn't soak his favorite shirt. He wore Pants of the same color as his shirt, made of a very, liberating material. It felt quite comfortable, and looked stylish. One of the better inventions of man.

He slowly made his way, cutting across the crowd, trying to avoid running into the many Souls, who were so caught up in the everyday tasks of life. He pitied them, for thier lives were short, and they would spend most of it, in the struggle to survive. One thing he was glad he didn't have to do. As he took a sharp turn to the right, he noticed that this street was far more crowded than the last. "Fuck". he said in an annoyed, yet soft voice, so no one else could hear him.

Slowly walking towards the end of the lane, he suddenly, felt something strange. He didn't know what it was, but it was strange. A Hollow ? No, The power is too great for a Hollow, and it isn't an Arrancar... A Quincy Maybe ? were the thoughts that rushed through his mind, as he felt the power getting closer and closer to him. Suddenly, he felt someones body, coliding with his own, sending both of them tumbling down. He looked dazed, and was kinda surprised. His attention had been diverted to the strange power, that felt ever so close now.

He looked to his right, to see who it was that tumbled into him. He saw that it was a young girl, with black hair. He looked at her with a gentle smile, as he slowely got up. He offered a hand to the lady, and said, "Sorry there, i wasn't looking where I was going ", in his calm, masculine and soothing voice. He hoped she would forgive him. He was trying to be polite, despite the fact, that he was a bit annoyed.

Eyes flicking from person to person, she reached out with her senses as she walked, testing the air for any unusual auras. Mostly all she felt was the normal humans, a few flickering candle lights that signified gifted humans, but none of them were very close and most were too dim to pay much attention to. The swirl of dull colors parted as a blazing aura entered her periphery. It shone a bright red, pulsing bloodily. Swerving as if the motion has been intended, she maneuvered herself in the direction of that aura.

That was when the jostling crowd around her shifted like an angry animal, thrusting and pressing as the crimson drew closer. Then it seemed as if time slowed for but a second, her body sliding towards another in a direct path for collision. It took all of her willpower not to shift out of the way, not to fall back on instincts and twist just enough to miss the body. But given the enclosed space that would be too conspicuous by far, so instead she crashed into the man and they both toppled to the ground.

They were lucky not to be crushed by the pressing horde of bodies that flowed past like ants on the march. Palms pressed against the rough pavement, she glanced at the body next to her before smiling in a fainthearted manner. She clasped his hand loosely, allowing the man to pull her to her feet as she blinked back the afterglow of a bright aura directly in front of her.

Once on her feet she dipped into a modified bow, "Gomen nasai. I wasn't watching either." She eyed him in a worried manner, "Are you alright sir?"

The moment his hand touched hers, his eyes suddenly widened for a second. He felt this strange, source of energy, inside of her. It was unlike any other he'd ever felt before. It wasn't that she hadtoo much Reitsu, but it was the essence it gave off. To his eyes, it seemed like a Col Blue Aura Surrounded her. It felt like she could pierce through, and see his soul. It was as she was tearing deep into his soul, and reading out all his secrets. It was definetely a creepy feeling.

He slowly took back his hand, and began dusting his clothes. His Jackets Hood had come off, and his Spikey White hair was clearly Visible, making his skin color seem dark, in comparison. His eyes were deep, mysterious, metallic grey. He looked back at her, once the dust was off his pants, and when he did turn to face her, he saw that she was bowing. He smiled Sheepishly, and placed his hands infront in front of himself, as if trying to say 'settle down'. He said, in a nervous voice " Eh ? No No ! No need to Apologise... Its ok. Really. Its ok ! ". He felt awkward because he wasn't used to being treated like this.

After a few seconds, he calmed down, his face returning to its reguler expression. How Could i have missed that ? he thought, but he remembered that answer a minute later. This Gigai he's built for Zaigan and himself, was a very powerful supresser. It wwould almost completely eliminate almost every last bit of Spiritual Energy that managed to leak out, while allowing the user to change the limit of energy suppressed at will. The one kink to this Gigai was, that it can Block out certain entities Reitsu from being clearly located. It was a random thing, but it was very annoying at times. That was probably what did it this time, though it has only a 0.45% Chance of happening.

But that wasn't what was important. This girl... was different, and has terrifying strenght. He was intregued by her power. He realised that he had been silent far a bit too long. He said, " Erm... and also, There is No need to be so formal. You can just call me Kazuki ", trying to act as normal as he could.

She resisted a knowing grin, settling instead for another tentative smile and a quick glance up to meet the man's eyes. The blaze had calmed down now, settling beneath his skin. Still, if she looked close enough it was readily apparent, red threads of power flowing through his body, being pumped through his veins like blood. Perhaps too reiatsu was the spirits blood.

She flushed slightly, dipping her head, "Ah... Kazuki-san then," the name was spoken softly, carefully, as if she was standing on ground that might just drop out from beneath her feet at any moment. Saitō Paksennarion would surely feel improper at the moment, using a first name so casually. And surely Kazuki was a first name, as the manner in which the man offered it implied.

The blush faded slightly, as she opened her mouth to offer her own name in response. Pausing briefly, she made some quick mental calculations. It was true that her current first name was unwieldy, but nicknames seemed more prevalent in teenage girls these days so shortening it shouldn't give any cause for attention. Or at least any more than her name would give on it's own.

"I am Saitō Paksennarion, although my friends call me Paks," she smiled in a self-depreciating manner, her tone gave the impression that her name was an often complained about subject.

The swirl of emotions coming off the man was something to note, and it was unusual enough that she wanted to take a closer look. Now was the appropriate time where she could easily bow and then rush off, apologizing again before the incident would be forgotten. Then again this man was obviously not a normal man, so she doubted he would forget so easily. The interest he wasn't physically showing was more than enough of a reason to stay and observe. After all, she had orders to follow and this was proving an ample chance to work on them.

" So Paks, Huh ? " he said casually, in his normal voice. The exitement, if any had existed before this point, had vanished from his voice, and from his body language. He had been swayed by the perculier Aura of this girl, but he was fine now. He lowered the Gigai's barrier to outward forces, to be able to better feel this strange Reitsu. He knew that he could not let his gaurd down, for even a moment, because no matter how polite she acted, there was something about her, that seemed dangerous to him. Call it instinct, or call it 500-600 Yrs worth of experience, but whatever it was, it was still as sharp as it was all those years ago, when he was a Captain.

He looked at the girl, without any emotions on his face. He knew that she wasn't going to tell him who she really was, so trying to sit down and talk would not help him out so much. So he decided to try a different approach, which was, to directly confront her about it. He knew that such a strong Reitsu couldn't belong to just anyone. It also seemed to be refined, and not just present there, since she was able to surpress it. So it was clear that she was not new to these concepts, so he knew it was safe to assume, that she knew mostly everything about the World of Spirits.

So he looked her in the eyes, with his piercing glare, and said, only loud enough for her to hear," Since you aren't going to quit the act, I'll be the one to break the ice " and then paused for a moment. He then continued, in his Serious voice " You know as well as I do that we aren't reguler humans. So instead of stalling around without reaching anywhere, i propose we go somewhere less consipicious, and then we can properly and thoroughly discuss this. Okay ? ", and having said that, he waited for a response, hoping that she would stop pretending.

For a moment she wanted to protest, throw up some innocent bluster. She was a damn good actor, partly due to the fact that she could project whatever emotions she was pretending to have, but also in large part due to innate ability. She could probably fool this man. It would take too much effort however when she was supposed to be staying inconspicuous, and she wasn't certain how long she would be able to cloud his mind. If he realized, later down the line... That could prove more problematic than the current situation did.

So instead of looking at him strangely and departing, she nodded. "Where would you suggest Kazuki-san?" Her tones were still mild and inoffensive, her voice quiet as she spoke the words.

She needed to draw him out, learn what she could from him and then disappear. It shouldn't be that hard, but for some reason Paks could tell this altercation would not go according to plan no matter how carefully she walked. Ah well, that merely meant she would just have to throw her all into it. If things got tricky, it was simple enough to vanish. Not that the repercussions of blowing things would be all that pleasant, but such things could be dealt with.

" So you choose not to act. Good. " he said, smiling in a mischivious manner. He motioned for her to follow him, as he began walking towards Old Karakura Town. He knew well that there was a possibilty to encounter Hollows there, but that would be the least of his worries. It was also a place where the Quinc frequently visited. If that happened, it would most probably result in a battle. But it was the only place he thought was appropriate for this discussion. Plus, he knew that area like the Back of His hand due to his visits there over the last Century, so if need be, he could escape easily.

He slowly cut through the stream of people, that brushed past him, some of them looking back with an annoyed look on thier face. As he reached the opening to a small alley, he quickly stepped in, signaling for her to come as well. He stood in the middle of the alley. He had taken of his Jacket, since he knew it would be blown away anyways, revieling his Musculer Arms, and Torso.

As he stood there with his back to Paks, he said, " Im sure you can keep up, Paks " and saying that, he vanished, appearing again, on the top of the building on his left. He looked at her, and said, " Come, and Fast " and saying that, he dissapeared from view as he stepped back from the ledge, and started running across the roof of the building, till he reached the Ledge on the other side. He jumped again, moving so quickly, that no one below could see him, and if anyone did look up, al they would see was a black mass, moving at great speeds. It wasn't Shunpo, it was just his reguler running speed, though he was moving a bit Slower than he usually did, to allow Paks to Keep up, as he led her to Old Karakura.

She followed the older man, winding her way through the crowds with ease. The small alley they slipped into was well hidden, the entrance blending in with the buildings beside it almost to perfectly. Still, it was an obvious choice for slipping away unseen. The smell of wet dirt and mold was prevalent and she wrinkled her nose in distate.

Tipping her head back, Paks followed Kazuki's jump to the rooftops. It only took a bit of exertion, bunching the muscles in her legs before surging forward and landing lightly on the rooftop where he had been standing moments before. That action in and of itself cried out blatantly that neither of them were normal, for such jumps would be impossible no matter the willpower housed withing a human.

Pausing to look around from her new vantage point, she began to imprint the maze of streets and alleyways. Hair whipping sharply in the wind, Paks followed after Kazuki. Loping, she didn't even try to keep up with him, knowing that even if he was physically out of sight she could still track him to wherever he was leading her.

She paused mid-stride, head cocked to the side listening to a far off sound. Clothes rippling in the stiff breeze Paks turned her gaze back to the man she had been following, appraising, assessing. After a second or so she called out, her voice quiet and yet still somehow reaching him.

"Gomen nasai. It seems as if something has come up. Perhaps we will meet later Kazuki-san."

A flick of her wrist and she gave him a two fingered salute before stepping of the side of the roof. It was a swift decent to the pavement, and then she landed in an easy crouch. A split-second later there was nothing but an empty alleyway, the girl disappearing without a trace.
