Stumbling at Noon

The sun was high in the sky, As the shining bright light from the sun cast its rays over Seireitei. The 12th Division Captain was at it again. It seems like every time he was ever seen inside of Soul Society he was already drunk. Rumors have it that he wakes up drunk and neglects his duties as the Head of the Research and Development Institute. Tatsuo usually only worked on things for himself or when ordered by the Captain Commander to create something. It left Tatsuo with a lot of free times on his hand as he was to lazy to create things just for the sake of creating them. 'Clomp...Clomp...Clomp...Clomp...Clomp Clomp Clomp Clomp' Was the sound that echoed through the air of Seireitei. Tatsuo stumbled against the wall the sounds of his sandals sounding like an annoying machine gun.

Tatsuo posted himself against the wall pulling his straw hat down covering the majority of his face. He brought his right hand up to his face taking in a nice so puff from his pipe. The smoke slowly escaped from the Captain's mouth looking like a bubble of smoke. Tatsuo kicked himself all the wall with his foot as the sounds of his clomping begun to pick back up."Where are all the pretty ladies!?" Tatsuo said loudly as it some what sounded like a sigh as well. The trail of smokes trailed off behind him as if he was some type of train. The bottle of sake could easily be seen attached to his right hip. His blue and white Kimino blew in the wind as he wondered aimlessly through Seireitei.

Silently, Kisuke sneaked behind Tatsuo, and then Wham ! He Jumped on Tatsuo causing him to face plant, his pipe sent flying. He knew Tatsuo was far too drunk to notice any change around him. Kisuke had his reguler mischivious smile on his face. Since his squads jobs was pretty much done, he had the entire week free. He didn't want to spend it with someone who'd end up boring him. He wasnted to find Sunari, but since he couldn't he settled for the only other person who amused him enough to be considered, 'company'. It was Tatsuo, the drunken Captain. He liked the way he worse a stray hate and the modifications he'd made to his Captains Robe. Kisuke had tried that once, but he got scoleded by Shin for it, so he stopped doing that.

Kisuke slowly got up, as he dusted his robes, and said, " Tatsuo-Kun. How are you today ? " in a very sunny voice. He was in one of his good moods today, so he was wearing a genuine smile for once, instead of his reguler faux one. It was just that Tatsuo and Sunari would somehow being out his real smile. He felt at ease with them, because he'd known them for a long time. He didn't feel it was nessecary to really meet up with the other captains so he tried to avoid them most of the time, with the exception of Shin, who he somewhat admired.

While he waited for a reply, he quickly bent down, and picked up Tatsuo's pipe, and threw it to him, in a fun way. It had been a long time since he'd done that too Tatsuo, so it felt nice. He'd been waiting a long time to get together with Tatsuo and get a drink. He was always good company and would keep him entertained. So he felt it was his obligation to atleast share a drink with him. This should be fun he thought.

Tatsuo felt the presence of the Captain right before he jumped on him but his motor skills just wasn't listening to what his brain was telling them. Tatsuo rolled over sitting up as the looked at the 13th Division Captain. Tatsuo quickly jumped to his feet, He was still pretty graceful even being drunk. Being drunk for him was almost being normal in his mind. Tatsuo adjusted his straw hat before dusting off his Kimino. His blue eyes looked at the captain as they were filled with a little glaze.

Tatsuo quickly dropped down catching his pipe in his mouth. He took pride in being a drunk who could act almost as if he was sober. "Ahhh Captain Kisuke, Your lucky I was drunk because....if you done that while I was sober.....We would have...had...some problems!" Tatsuo said with a big smile on his face readjusting his Zanpaktou on his left hip. Tatsuo then unhooked the Sake bottle from right hip tossing it at the Captain. "You gotta a long way to catch if you want to get on my level of drunkness" Tatsuo said flash stepping beside Captain Kisuke catching the bottle for him. He quickly popped the top off placing it on the Captain's lip feeding him the bottle.

His eye's widened, as the bottle of Sake, touched his lips, and the liquid flew into his mouth and down his throat. He felt a warm and over whelming feeling, as the Sake went down his throat. It was unlike any before. He normally didn't drink so much, and the Captain had just emptied an entire bottle into him. He just wasn't that used to it, and to add to that, it was a special brand of Sake, which was stronger than the reguler stuff. Kisuke's eye's which had widened, slowely began to go back to thier reguler slit form, and his cheeks turned a strange color of red. His face was in a silly smile, one that said, " Why the fuck did you do that. Heck i don't mind ".

He looked at Tatsuo, with a very sheepish smile and said, " Awwwsh, sheesh, Captshin.. Ya didn't havta.... empty thatsh whole bottle in me... " with an occasional hiccup, here and there. He still wasn't completely drunk. Infact, he was far from it. But this feeling was completely new to him, and for some strange reason, he liked it, so he started to let it take over. Afterall, it wasn't everyday he got drunk. So he put one arm around the Captains neck, and took another bottle of Sake, and raised it up, and said, " Well, now that we're... at it, lets go for the full courshe " speaking a bit mroe clearly, now that he got somewhat used to it.

Tatsuo looked at the Captain laughing a bit shaking his head. Tatsuo quickly through the empty bottle against the wall as it shattered into pieces. He removed the Captain's arm from around him stumbling to the other side of the street. Tatsuo could barely keep himself standing, there was no way he was going to be able to hold both of them up. Tatsuo placed his piped back into his uniform as he was done smoking it.

"Awww don't tell me your a light weight Captain Kisuke...I don't think your ready to be at my level" Tatsuo said stumbling down the street heading to his favorite bar. He had his own booth prepared for him as he was a regular in the bar. He was always there at random times but they were always ready for his presence. It was the Bar's flirt always talking to the ladies as well knew everyone inside of the Bar. "Now Captain, Please don't pass out while at the Bar...I am to lazy to carry you back to your division" Tatsuo said laughing making his way towards the bar.

By now, Kisuke was able to stand firmly on both feet. He wasn't feeling the same dizziness he felt a few moments ago. The reason was probably the amount of Alchohol he'd drunk, in just one go. But now he was feeling better, and had come back to most of his senses. " Im not as light weight as you'd think Captain " he said, now that he was able to speak properly. He placed his hand on his had, stroking his blond hair a bit, and place his hands inside the Sleeves of his Robes, to keep warm.

He nodded to Tatsuo, in response to his comment about him passing out. It was probably true. Tatsuo was far to lazy to do something like that. " I wouldn't count on it Captain " he said, again, as he walked along with Tatsuo to the Bar he was leading him too. He was feeling a warm, and tingling sort of sensation, as he followed Tatsuo. He didn't know which bar he was taking him too, but it was probably a good one, since this was Tatsuo afterall. The man can't find his way out of a phone booth, but he could find a Bar in a SandStorm.
