Sealed Zanpakutou: Wakizashi with a green hilt and handle.

Shikai: In Shikai, the Zanpuakto forms a scarf around the users neck (see avatar).

Shikai Ability: In shikia, Torto Foresta increases Rifts observational skills, to the point where he can tell a persons spiritual element merely by looking at them. In the case of Shinigami, Rift can also see their spirit, while in the case of Bount/Arrancar/Superhumans, he is able to see their trueforms/true shape of the doll

Techniques:

Healing in the vine (Shikai): By wrapping his scarf around a wound, Rift is able to grow a lattice of vines around that wound. Taking a post for the vines to grow, they dig into the skin and begin to repair it, using the targets own energy for fuel. It takes a single post to repair minor injuries, two posts to repair more severe injuries and three turns to repair all but the most life threatning injuries. During the time of the repair and regeneration, the target suffers from drowsiness and slight hallucinations (since its using their energy for the repairs,) Once the wound is repaired, the vines drop off and dig into the ground, (3 turn recharge)

Offensive Odour (Shikai): Throwing a packet of his 'speacil' seeds, Rift increases their growth and potency at the cost of their life span. It takes one turn for the seeds to grow, at the end of which they begin to flower, and release a
potent perfume, which causes nausea (first turn), Vomiting (second turn of effect) and finally unconciousness (third turn of effect). Since Rift is used to the smell,(and often smells worse) these effects do not apply to him. (4 turn recharge and the Flowers die one turn after the final effects)

Binding in the Roots. Another one of his seed techs, Rift launches them at an oppenent/area, and begins to channel energy into their growth. After a single posts worth of growth, these seeds turn into vines which attempt to reach out and entangle any opponent that comes near. (2 turns recharge)
